    I guess I'll be the first one to put up a topic here. Share your top favorite most-efficient work-out moves(any type) and your least favorite---also tell us why you love/hate 'em. I'm hoping to learn a lot from all the inputs, so please DO share Hidden Content .

    I'll start.

    Top fave: hiking on the stairmaster
    Why: It burns calories two times faster than the ellyptical and it gives more impact on your overall body muscles.

    Least fave: tricep curls
    Why: it hurts everytime and the following 2 days after!

    baru nyobain body combat... ternyata seru juga, jadi berasa kayak jagoan... hehehee... yaaah... biarpun kalo ngaca sih berasa masih lembek dan nggak keren banget gerakan gue, jauh banget dibanding sama trainernya... tapi siapa tau lama-lama jadi jago berantem beneran. Hidden Content best part-nya, besoknya berat gue langsung turun setengah kilo. Wow! beneran membakar kalori kayaknya, though I don't believe bener benr 500 cal as advertised

    most fav: rowing... cos dlm bbrp bulan langsung keliatan bedanya! hehehe, bicepsnya boHidden Content mulai keliatan, also... krn gw set ke 2km, makin lama gw liatin aja, dari 12mins, turun jadi 11.5mins, trus turun lagi jadi 11mins... hehe...

    least fav: rowing!! cos it's just abt the most boring thing to do in the gym... mana dudukannya tuh setelah 5menit selalu ga pw gituw, sakit2 keras, gw coba geser2 dikit tetep ajaaaa ga ketemu yg pw Hidden Content

    sebenernya swimming juga bagus banget seh, berhubung airnya itu bikin lo seger, ga peliket keringetan, dan biasanya gw jadi ga sadar klo gw dah cape (biasa gw ke pool evening gituw jadi sampe poolnya tutup), pokoknya pas balik, abiez mandi, tiba2 pegellll buangeth!

    treadmill & cross-training for 30 minutes, 3-5 times a week. along with the low carb diet, of course Hidden Content

    ehmm... pada dasarnya gue gak suka olahraga. tapi gue mengusahakan untuk bakar-bakar kalori dikit... lewat jalan kaki dan.... DANCING!

    jalan kaki dilakukan karena disini gak punya mobil... huehuhee...
    tapi, instead of naik bus, gue pilih jalan. kebetulan gue tinggal di city centre jadi kemana-mana deket. kalo ada kelas pagi [dan bangunnya always telat] pasti jalannya sprint!! nyampe kelas keringetan, deh... huehuehee...

    waktu di NY dulu gue suka ikut kelas street dance di broadway. mereka biasanya ngajarin 5 simple steps ala Wade Robson gitu, capek sih... tapi seneng. di akhir session biasanya trus nari bareng2 dengan gaya masing2 yang berdasarkan 5 simple steps. seru banget! di Newcastle gak ada nih tempat ginian, paling mentok salsa di Hidden Content

    my least fave sport activities adalah lari dan bersepeda. karena monoton, dan gue orangnya bosenan, yang ada bawaannya ngantuk... :P hikhik...

    untuk mengurangi berat badan. spt yg skr aku lagi lakuin...

    setiap hari harus ada exercisenya......
    ganti2an gitu deh antara:
    - renang, harus 30 menit lap swimming. tanpa henti
    - jogging outside or di treadmill.. kalo di treadmill enak sih bisa ada itungan kalori nya. cuma bosen gw mahh.. paling lama cuma bisa 40 menit aja. biasanya pake high incline biar lbh byk calori nya trus jg katanya sih buat pantat kenceng.
    kalo diluar joggingnya biasa yah di atur sendiri aja speed nya. biasa bisa sampe 1 jam.
    - tennis. tennis kalo sendiri tanpa partner, pelatih doang. bisa 1.5 jam
    tapi kalo sama partner 2 jam saja. karena pas berdua ini di drill banget sama si pelatih Hidden Content )

    gw rasa sih semua efek nya jadi satu ya... karena gw jg blm fokusin ke latihan beban. krn targetnya ngurusin badan jd yah latihan cardio dulu lahh.. Hidden Content
    dulu gw suka Taebo, tapi di jkt sini agak susah cari kelas Taebo (at least di daerah rumah gw... karena bukan yg deket gym yg terkenal2 gitu loo)
    gw kalo disuru ke gym yg keren tapi jauh bakalan ga di lakonin de.. percuma, buang2 duit aje Hidden Content )

    putri duyung : could be bener lhooo 500 cal. , apalagi kalo 45-60 mins long kelasnya. I wish my gym had the program, sounds fun!

    LavanyaLea : oh yaaaa...ngefek banyak ya kalo rowing? I've seen people do it tapi belom pernah nyobain sendiri. Your testimony intrigues me.

    loucee : wah, sama, I hate running too....my legs can't take it. Payah deh, pdhl it's a good sport to do.

    kalo gua.. ummm.. kmaren2 sih ga pernah olahraga sama sekali.. cumaa karena akhir2 ini gua suka mngeluh dada sesek (I am a smoker, no wonder), I decided to exercise every single day. alternatifnya adalah:

    1. don't drive, take busway instead.. hehe.. kebetulan ada rute busway baru di deket rumah gua.. jadi gua harus jalan kurang lebih 500m buat sampe ke halte terdekat, naik tangga (hiks, haltenya udik nih, tangga! ga papa sih, jadi lebih deket).. trus pas transit2nya itu jembatannya luar biasa panjang. so I have to walk and walk and walk.
    hasilnya: mayan dehh, hari pertama betis gua boncos.. hehehe..

    2. treadmill minimal 15menit.. buat perkenalan.. hehe.. kalo uda sering, minimal 30menit kali yahh.. duluuuu gua suka lari2 di halaman selama 45 puteran, cuma qo kayak orang gila ya lari2 sendiri. bagus mamak gua bliin treadmil. hehe.
    hasilnya: mayan deh, bakar kalori.. kaliii.. ;p

    3. sebenernya gua suka berenang.. tapi di rumah gua adanya kolam ikan tuhh bukan kolam renang.. dan gua ga sempet buat ke public swimming pool.. huhu.. sebal..

    kalo the least fave sihh sit up yaa.. amit2 dehh.. punggung pegal, perut sakit.. nggak dehh..

    most fave and effective for me: walking with treadmill [45 min, 3 times a week]
    fave: body language [20-30 min 3 times a week] or swimming [1-1.5 hrs]
    least fave: jogging...never!

    Jadi biasanya tuh gw liat, banyak yg tekniknya salah, jadi mereka main narik handlenya aja, trus dibalikin lagi, narik lagi, balikin lagi, etc.... sedangkan lo seharusnya row, seperti klo lo emang lagi mendayung perahu... jadi bikin lingkaran gitu deh kira2... dan sambil narik handlenya, itu torsonya sedikit inclined ke belakang, jadi ngestretch your rectus abdominis juga...

    di link yg di atas itu mestinya ada video contoh... gmn cara yg bener, dan kebanyakan orang salahnya di mana...

    rowing is good cos it's aerobic (gw biasanya mulai berasa setelah 1km/5mins ish gituw), ngelatih biceps, trapezius, abs, pokoknya hampir all body workout gitu deh... ohhh dan gw suka kipasnya (di bagian depan kan dipasang kipas jadi pas lo narik handle, itu muter porosnya kipas hehhee), jadi berasa sepoi2nya angin Hidden Content

    I love walking. Dan karena di Paris saya ngga punya mobil, jadi kemana-mana mesti jalan dan naik metro. It's really effective lho! I don't gain weight here although I admit I eat a lot! hehehehe...

    Dulu waktu masih kuliah di depok, saya juga kemana-mana naik bis dan jalan. Alhasil berat badan terjaga. Waktu di amrik kemana2 naik mobil, berat badan cepet naik. Apalagi ditambah banyak mengkonsumsi Haagen Dazs. hehehe

    Trus juga, I go to body combat class 3 times a week. Kalo dipikir2, dengan ikutan kelas ini, berat badan sih ngga turun, mungkin malah naik sekilo. Tapi, baju justru lebih pas dan badan berasa enteng dan berbentuk aja. So, my consolation is...otot kan emang lebih berat daripada daging/lemak...hihihihi =D

    Me too, me too!!     my favorites: cardio for 20-30 minutes then I do crunches, abs, triceps, biceps(pokoknya yang buat ngencengin) trs gw cardio lag/ jalan cepet 25 minute,trs sauna bntar....mandi deh di gym Hidden Content
    oia hip-hop juga ok bgt buat fat burn.

    least favorite: lari di treadmill soalnya I had accident before on my knee, jd ga kuat lagi kalo buat lari Hidden Content padahal itu ampuh bgt buat kurusin badan,,,,,
