Pas pertama kali liat label ini di Cleo Fashion Award 2009 gue langsung suka. Soalnya designnya unik banget. They also won the Cleo Award that year. So well done to them.

A little background about them, taken from their site

Danjyo launched in 2001 as one of independent local label base on trends devised by co-owners Dana Maulana and Syarifah Liza Mashita with its home in Cililin raya no 12.A Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta. ’The original concept for the label was to create exciting fashion items all through domestic production that take in global trend rapidly. Thus, customers just then may have the latest fashionably thing at the best price. Danjyo has long been a stomping ground for style-savvy individuals in Jakarta area; mostly by evolved women’s wear and carrying unisex fashion design into some of collection. As much as we supporting fashion industry in Indonesia and marked as an independent local label, Danjyo starting to selling stockiest at Alun-Alun Indonesia since 2007. In deliberation to expand on the market knowledge about Danjyo product positively able to compete with abroad label through design, quality and price. Early on 2009, the excitement periods of independent designers who show many innovative collections drive up Danjyo to stretched out the collection by offering men’s wear line named as Hiyoji. Adjoin Rama Adrianus Dauhan as one of co-owner, the new concept of Danjyo-Hiyoji is expected to give more options in men’s wear market instead of women’s wear. Hiyoji original idea is to showcase a strong wearable design on basic pieces without against the aesthetic value of the way man dressing up themselves. Fortunately, this late collaboration that came up with mini collection “Culture Club” between three co-owners had been awarded by Cleo Magazine as the most innovative local brand in 2009. Meanwhile the original production pieces also been sold out at Brightspot market on December 2009. Following the success of the “Culture Club” collection exciting developments for the future of Danjyo-Hiyoji include,the launch of own store at the most biggest mall in Indonesia (Grand Indonesia), website, overseas distribution to one of concept store in Singapore and also the launch of second collection and the launch collection for Harvey Nichols Indonesia both menswear and women wear, on its way soon.

suka liat karya2 mereka di ELLE Mag, keren yah unik banget, ide2nya seru heels nya, dressnya.

baru tau kalo ini danjyo yg dulu hits dan hijyoji yang itu,,udah sempet curiga kalo mereka kerja sama,soalnya namanya digabungin,,ternyata eh ternyata,,,keren2 koleksinya,,salut!!
