Buat makeup products aku lebih rela spend agak banyak di Foundation, Concealer and Powder. Jd buat complexion deh ya, kalo decorativenya pake yg murah macem product lokal atau drugstore juga hayok aja asal kualitas oke! Hidden Content

COMPLEXION PRODUCTS karena kulit gw extremely oily yet dehydrated & sensitive (allergy, eczema-prone, etc, walaupun untungnya nggak acne-prone walaupun gampang muncul blackhead kalo lepas dari BHA). Most drugstore primers/foundies/concealers/powders are either staying powernya kalah sama produksi minyak di muka atau ngasih reaksi negatif di kulit gw.

Barang lain yg bikin gw willing buat splurging itu LIPSTICK. Bibir gw super sensitive & dry. Please don't ask me to exfoliate & put on some lip balm, gw udah exfoliate religiously & lip balm aja sekali beli in bulk saking cepet abisnya (lip balm gw udah yg kelas berat juga). Lipstick mid-end brands macem MAC or MUFE walaupun staying powernya lumayan tapi bikin bibir kering & pecah2. Drugstore brands biasanya malah lebih parah, Revlon (yg kemasannya item, ijo & silver) contohnya, bikin bibir gw berdarah, kapalan & mati rasa for weeks. WEEKS!
Mostly, high-end brand lipsticks jarang bikin kasus yg aneh2 di bibir gw.
Untungnya sih nggak semua drugstore/mid-end brand lipsticks begini di gw, gw punya bbrp merk favorit juga, tapi untuk amannya gw pilih lipstick dari high-end brand favorite gw aja... Hidden Content

Idem sama acid_saxifrage! aku rela deh ngeluarin duit lebih untuk complexion product kayak bedak, foundation, concealer, dll karena kulit sensitif banget dan acne prone. sejauh ini udah pernah coba complexion products dari drugstore dan high end brands, dan memang kulit lebih cocok sama produk high end.

Lipstick n blush on..drugstore ato mid-end brand asal warnanya suka ya beli..kalo make up yg lain biasa aja,yg penting udh punya,tp kalo 2 jenis itu kayaknya lapar mata melulu hehehehe

Foundation and powder! From experience, high(er) end foundations and powders do perform better than their drugstore counterparts. I could never find a drugstore foundation that matches my skin tone perfectly. They all seem to have some pinkish undertones. And somehow the pricy foundations apply better. Satu lagi, eyebrow pencil. I only use Shu Uemura, would love to try Tom Ford soon.

As much as I love Burberry and dior lipsticks, there's plenty of good inexpensive lipsticks. Same thing with blushes. Yg agak susah eyeshadow, I find drugstore brands don't adhere to my skin as good as the higher end ones.

Yang ke 2 yg bikin rela keluarin lebih tools nya such as brush...walopun gak jago2 amat makeup,good brushes are good investment Hidden Content secara kan dia gak expired n gak abis..so far emang higher end brand lbh bagus performa nya dr brush2 biasa Hidden Content
My hg brushes are from tom ford and hakuhodo..sekali coba langsung kerasa beda nya dibanding ecotools,real technique Hidden Content

eh iya, powders and powder foundations! i love powder foundies, dan cheaper ones tend to get cakey.... my HG ngga luxury brand juga sihh, Clinique. bedanya kayak langit dan bumi hasilnya sama drugstore compacts hahaha and the right powder will make your base last and looks even better as the day goes by.

aku beruntung sekali berartiii cocok sama drugstore foundies hihi i'd love to splurge, tapi kalo foundie mahal bener :') kalo lipsticks kan masih bisa di justifikasi hahaha

wajib nyetok n hunting more drugstore waterproof eye makeup, saat ini nyetok waterproof eye makeup sep eyecream shadow maybelline / jordana / milani, gel liner maybelline / fergie, daiso eyebrow coat, mascara maybelline, karena doyannnn bgt main makeup di sekitar mata dgn bold eyeshadow, bold liner.

Dan krn "benda2" tsb yg jadi alas buat muka gw, gw percaya kl "ada harga pasti ada rupa" yg laen sih gw banyak beli drugstore products especially colored eye liners, mascara, n lipsticks
